DINING ON CAMPUS

Three meals a day will be offered to all students that participate in the program. Students and program staff will eat together family style. We do our best to ensure that every student, faculty, and staff member has the option to eat creative, delicious, nutritious meals every day, even if they have food allergies or special dietary needs dictated by health, ethical, religious, or medical reasons.

RECREATIONAL & FITNESS ACTIVITIES

There are a wide variety of fun, indoor and outdoor activities provided for NAPCA students on campus that will provide an unforgettable summer experience. Students will have the opportunity to participate in group fitness activities such as yoga and engage in healthy competition as they participate in various sports and recreational activities.

UNIVERSITY & MEDICAL SCHOOL TOURS

A key part of deciding which university or medical school to attend is finding a good fit. And a great way to make that decision is to visit each university in person, which can help determine which university is the right place for you.

A campus visit is your opportunity to get a firsthand view of a university. A university catalog, brochure or website can only show you so much. To really get a feel for the University, NAPCA students will spend time on campus discovering the unique culture and climate of each campus we visit. Students will sit in on a class, visit the dorms and dining halls, and talk to students, faculty, financial aid advisers, and admission counselors.

HANDS-ON CAREER SIMULATION EXPERIENCES

In our hands-on career simulations and team-based labs students participate in clinical simulation project based learning activities, and gain valuable, hands-on experience as they work together in teams while learning a variety of medical techniques that medical physicians must know in order to provide high-quality care to their patients. Our simulation activities range from the basics of interacting with patients, checking vitals, providing wound care, making incisions, administering injections, to suturing.

STUDENT SAFETY & SUPERVISION

Student safety and supervision are our first priority at NAPCA. Campus security officers and designated NAPCA staff frequently patrol all campus facilities used by the program and are trained in safety and emergency procedures. Our student-to-staff ratio of 10:1 will ensure that our students are supervised and cared for during the program. Students are supervised by MPP staff throughout their entire day as they move from activity to activity in our small group format. Staff are carefully recruited from top universities across the globe. Staff members are carefully screened, undergo extensive background and reference checks, and are CPR & First-Aid Certified.

For those students that live on campus, nightly room checks are conducted to ensure all students are safe and secure, and designated staff perform scheduled walkthroughs of the residence halls while students are resting in their dorm rooms from 11:00pm to 7:00am. During site visits, all students must stay with their assigned group and staff member as well as cooperate with site-specific security measures.

Comprehensive communication plans are put in place prior to the start of programs. Staff members remain in constant contact with each other and with the on-site office. Emergency communication plans are also in place, allowing us to communicate directly with parents in the event of an emergency.

LIVING ON CAMPUS

Students will experience college life while they live and learn on a college campus. Students will meet new friends from around the world who share their interests while living and learning within a safe and secure college environment. This offers students both convenience and a sense of community, and provides students the opportunity for more student and faculty interaction, enhancing learning and academic, social, and personal growth.

Fun Under the Sun at the Beach

NAPCA students and staff will spend an afternoon enjoying the beach. Join the fun and relax a little with your new friends!

An Evening at a Major League Baseball Game

NAPCA students and staff will spend an evening cheering on a Major League Baseball team such as the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Open Mic / Talent Show

Whether it's singing a pop-culture song, playing a Beethoven sonata, or sharing an athletic feat, the Talent Show at NAPCA is sure to be a time of amazing entertainment.

Karaoke

Think you can sing like Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift, or the Jonas Brothers? Or do you think you can rap like Drake? Come show off your singing or rapping skills at the NAPCA Karaoke Studio.

Ice Skating with NAPCA

Want to race? Come out and join NAPCA and staff on a beautiful night by taking some Laps around the skating rink and enjoy your new friends!

iFly Indoor Skydiving

iFly is an indoor skydiving experience that creates true free fall conditions, just like skydiving without having to jump out of an airplane. It's just you and the air, and it's the most incredible adrenaline rush!

NAPCA Dance Party

You came in as strangers and you now prepare to part as close friends—but not before you party together at the final dance! There will be a live DJ mixing up your favorite tunes and plenty of snacks and beverages to keep you going into the night.

Bowling is an evening of fun for everyone! Come show your skills in the bowling alley or just hang out and eat some delicious pizza and wings while you relax in the lounge areas.
