ADMISSIONS

Admissions Process:

We are now accepting applications for the next cohort of students at the MPP Academy! There is no cost to apply. We use a rolling admissions process which means that our office of admissions team will evaluate applications as they are received versus waiting to evaluate all applications after a hard deadline. Therefore, we will accept applications until we have filled all seats for the incoming cohort.

Admission Checklist for Prospective Students:

We have put together a flow chart which we hope will help you understand the MPP Academy’s admissions process.

Age Requirements

U.S. and International students, ages 13-18, are invited to apply for admission. U.S. citizenship is not required, but an excellent command of the English language, both written and oral, is necessary.

International Students English Language Test: Evidence of English Language Proficiency

All applicants from countries in which the official language is not English are required to submit official evidence of English language proficiency by taking a standardized test called the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). TOEFL is administered by the Educational Testing Service. You can obtain detailed information from the TOEFL website, or contact TOEFL Services, Educational Testing Service, P.O. Box 6151, Princeton, NJ 08541-6151, (609) 771-7100.

This requirement applies to applicants from Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Latin America, the Middle East, the People’s Republic of China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, most European countries, and non-English-speaking countries in Africa.

If you have completed at least one year of full-time academic course work with grades of B or better in residence at a recognized U.S. institution, you do not need to take a standardized test. Instead, you must upload an unofficial transcript from the recognized U.S. institution.

Student & Parent Interview

Important Note: Interviews will be requested should our admissions team have further questions regarding your application.

During the interview session, we will ask questions about the student’s academic and career goals, why they decided to apply for admission, and their extra-curricular activities. In addition, we will ask parents questions to get a better insight on where their son or daughter is today as it relates to their college and career path. Please be prepared to do most of the talking! Additionally, prospective students along with their parents will have an opportunity to ask specific questions about the MPP Academy.
